GT Radial Extends Tire Cup Lead with Double Podium Finish in Seattle
Seattle delivered another thrilling weekend for the GT Radial team, as our drivers put on a masterclass in consistency, teamwork, and raw skill. With only two races remaining in the season, every point matters — and our crew rose to the occasion.
Victory for Matt Field, Podium for Adam LZ
Matt Field led the charge with an outstanding performance, taking the top step of the podium after a weekend of precision driving and relentless determination. Joining him was YouTube sensation Adam LZ, who battled his way to a hard-fought third place, adding another strong result to his impressive season.
This win marks our third victory in six rounds — and notably, each win has come from a different GT Radial driver. It’s a testament to the depth of our lineup and the collective strength of our program.
Championship Standings Heat Up
Thanks to their Seattle success, our drivers now hold 3rd, 4th, and 5th place in the overall championship standings. The battle at the top is tightening, and GT Radial remains firmly in the hunt for season honors.
Tire Cup Lead Grows
Perhaps the biggest story of the weekend is our continued dominance in the Tire Cup standings. With points from both podium finishes, we’ve extended our lead and built a stronger margin heading into the final two events.
Tire Cup Standings After Seattle:
- GT Radial – 393
- Kenda – 354
- Nitto – 312
- Kumho – 178
We were also proud to welcome customers from TGI and TCI trackside, giving them a front-row seat to the action and an inside look at our championship push.
Next Stop: Salt Lake City
The team now heads to Salt Lake City, Utah on August 28, where we’ll aim to keep the momentum rolling. This round will also mark the finale of the Prospec season — one in which we’ve sold nearly 4,000 Champiro SX2RS tires. With confidence high and focus sharp, GT Radial is ready to tighten its grip on the Tire Cup title.
