History and Storms: GT Radial’s Cameron Sorenson Youngest Ever PROSPEC Winner as Weather Cuts Event Short
The biggest highlight of the weekend came in the PROSPEC category, where 14-year-old GT Radial driver Cameron Sorenson, made Formula Drift history by becoming the youngest driver ever to win a PROSPEC event. It was an incredible performance and a milestone moment for the series.

Unfortunately, the PRO competition was cut short due to severe weather, including tornado activity in the area. For the safety of everyone involved, Formula Drift was forced to cancel the remainder of the event before competition could be completed.
At this time, Formula Drift has not announced how the event will be officially scored or what process will be used to determine the final championship points from the unfinished competition. Prior to the cancellation, GT Radial drivers Matt Field and Odi Bakchis delivered strong qualifying performances, securing 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Our next stop is Round 6 in Seattle, Washington, taking place on August 21–22. We look forward to another strong weekend for the GT Radial team.
